Privacy Policy

When you interact with IKS Homes, we collect information you explicitly provide:

• Fellowship application details (name, email, educational background, research statement, portfolio links).
• Account credentials and authentication profiles via Ojas Identity.
• Communications, inquiries, and feedback submitted to our admissions or partnership teams.
• Anonymous usage telemetry and analytics to optimize website navigation and performance.

We process your data for legitimate institutional and academic purposes:

• Evaluating fellowship candidate dossiers and scheduling admissions interviews.
• Coordinating residential room allocations, laboratory permissions, and mentor pairings.
• Delivering programmatic updates, Hackathon invitations, and research symposium schedules.
• Fulfilling statutory tax and compliance obligations for honorarium and grant disbursements.

When you advertise a home in the Homes section, we keep what you enter in the listing:

• The home’s details, its price, and its locality, city, state and PIN code — all shown publicly once the listing is published.
• Your legal name, phone number, email, address and any RERA registration number — shown publicly on the listing, exactly as you enter them, so that buyers and tenants can contact you. Leave the email or address blank if you do not want them shown.
• The home’s exact address and location, held by our curators to identify the place and never shown on the listing.
• A record of how your ownership was checked: what was seen, where it came from and when. The listing records this, not copies of your documents.
• If you attach one, the share link of a Vāstu reading of your plan. Remove it from the listing, or stop sharing it in Pujavani, to take the reading off.

People who look at a listing can contact you directly, from the details on it. If a visitor sends a message about your home through iks.homes instead, our curators receive it. We do not pass the visitor’s details to you automatically.

If you send a message about a home or request a viewing, we keep your name, your email and phone number, the day you suggested, and your message. Our curators use them to reply to you, and they are held as an enquiry in the same records we use for every other enquiry. We do not publish them, and we do not send them to the advertiser unless a curator does so to arrange something you asked for.

We employ industry-standard encryption at rest and in transit. Your personal information is never sold, rented, or commercialized to third-party data brokers. Data is stored on sovereign Indian infrastructure in compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDP Act).

You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. To exercise your rights, email our Data Privacy Officer at privacy@chitram.ai.
